One of the trends to come forward in this beautiful industry I work in is The Sequel Wedding. With wedding postponement’s at an all-time high creating disappointment and uncertainty, couples are taking back control by saying “I Do”, embracing the intimate micro wedding and hosting a large celebration at a later date. I mean, who wouldn’t want 2 celebrations and the perfect excuse to wear that stunning dress twice?! Sounds like a fabulous plan to me and I have clients doing exactly that.

So what do you do when The Bride is originally from Quebec, The Groom from Mumbles and they’re living in the US? The Sequel Wedding becomes a romantic wedding trilogy across 3 countries and set over snow (Quebec), sand (Massachusetts) and sea views (The Gower).

Elaine and David needed a wedding planner with local knowledge to plan a wedding celebration for 50 guests in 4 weeks and we embraced the opportunity. With two other international and glamorous celebrations to live up to, only a unique venue steeped in centuries of Welsh history with fantastic sea views would do. So that’s what we did. And they married in the grounds of Penrice Castle with views over one of the most stunning costlines in the world.
